2013年創辦⼈阿崧正準備到台東市服兵役，入伍前⼼理最惦記著的就是—放假的時候，要怎麼去東河衝浪? 台東市到東河的距離⼤約50分鐘的路程，這樣的距離 確實需要⼀個「安全的」載板⼯具。
當時市⾯上的選擇，⼤多是找鐵⼯焊接鐵架在機⾞上，或者是⽤⽔管DIY⼀個 U型掛在機⾞上，能找到「不破壞⾞體」又相對完整的產品，就只有國外販售⾃⾏⾞⽤的板架，但是在實際載運過程中會發現套件的不吻合，增加了騎乘過程中的危險性。
Originally an engineer, A-Sung decided to create a surfboard rack that suited his motorcycle model. Before enlisting, he successfully designed the first motorcycle surfboard rack that didn’t require welding and could be quickly assembled. Upon seeing his creation, friends around him expressed their interest in owning a set of “A-Sung surfboard racks.” In 2017, he began to gather information on various types of motorcycles in Taiwan and incorporated everyone’s needs into the design process. A-Sung then refined and produced the first set of Old Pipe surfboard racks, specifically designed for different motorcycle models.

We have observed that riders who enjoy the experience of riding, whether it’s for surfing, camping, or traveling, have a critical need for versatile accessories that can be expanded on motorcycles to meet various usage needs. From the original motorcycle surfboard rack to the multifunctional motorcycle side racks, each product embodies our design philosophy that “riding life can be truly unique.”
