The For Love™ Interior Rack is a cargo system designed to make better use of interior vehicle space. It is suitable for carrying certain long items, outdoor gear, work equipment, and accessories for car camping.
For your safety and peace of mind, please read the following information carefully before purchasing, installing, or using the product.
1. Vehicle Compatibility and Variations
Installation methods and actual user experience may vary depending on the vehicle’s body structure, factory mounting points, headliner design, interior configuration, and intended use.
Please note:
- Even vehicles of the same make and model may require different installation methods or provide different usable space depending on model year, trim level, or interior configuration.
- Previous modifications, repairs, accidents, interior deterioration, or non-OEM components may affect installation.
- Headroom, cargo clearance, passenger comfort, rear visibility, and ease of use may vary depending on the vehicle, cargo dimensions, and actual use.
Before purchasing, please confirm the vehicle model, model year, and applicable version specified on our website. If you are unsure about compatibility, intended use, or installation requirements, please contact Old Pipe® before placing your order.
2. Load Limit and Cargo Securing
When the For Love™ Interior Rack is correctly installed, evenly loaded, and all cargo is properly secured, the absolute maximum load for the crossbars is 20 kg (44 lb).
Overloading, uneven loading, concentrated point loads, or carrying unsecured items is strictly prohibited. Improper use or overloading may result in structural damage, loosening, cargo falling from the rack, or other unpredictable hazards while driving.
Please note that the For Love™ Interior Rack does not automatically secure or restrain cargo. Placing an item on the crossbars does not mean that the item is safely secured.
Users must provide their own durable, abrasion-resistant tie-down straps or suitable load restraints and ensure that all cargo is firmly secured to the rack so that it cannot shift during normal driving, turning, braking, or travel over uneven roads.
Elastic or bungee cords must not be used as the primary means of securing cargo.
Old Pipe® is not responsible for personal injury or property damage resulting from cargo that has not been properly secured, including cargo that shifts, falls, becomes airborne, strikes vehicle occupants, or damages the vehicle.
The For Love™ Interior Rack is an interior cargo support system. It is not a crash-protection or certified cargo-restraint system and cannot guarantee that cargo will remain stationary during emergency braking, collisions, rollovers, or other accidents.
When using the product:
- Total cargo weight must not exceed 20 kg (44 lb).
- Avoid uneven loading, excessive loading on one side, or concentrated point loads.
- All cargo must be independently and securely tied down.
- Extra care must be taken when securing long, rigid, sharp, fragile, or otherwise hazardous items.
- Do not use the product if the cargo interferes with driver visibility, passenger safety, vehicle operation, or the proper function of any vehicle safety system.
- If you notice cargo movement, unusual noise, excessive movement, deformation, or contact with the vehicle interior, stop using the product immediately and inspect it.
- Do not use the product to support, suspend, or carry people, for climbing or pulling, or for any purpose other than carrying cargo.
- The product is not recommended for prolonged high-frequency heavy loading, extreme vibration, off-road driving, competitive driving, or other conditions beyond normal road use.
3. Airbags and Occupant Safety
Before installation, carefully review the vehicle manufacturer’s owner’s manual and identify the location, deployment direction, and deployment area of all relevant airbags.
Never install or position the For Love™ Interior Rack, its components, cargo, or tie-down straps in any area where they may interfere with airbag deployment or inflation.
Airbag locations may vary depending on vehicle model, model year, and equipment configuration. The user and installer are responsible for verifying the applicable information provided by the vehicle manufacturer.
Old Pipe® is not responsible for injury or damage resulting from improper installation, cargo placement, or user modifications that interfere with the proper operation or deployment of the vehicle’s airbags.
4. Installation
The For Love™ Interior Rack is designed to use factory mounting points whenever possible in order to minimize unnecessary modifications to the vehicle structure.
Depending on the vehicle, installation may require:
- Partially removing or pulling back the headliner or interior trim
- Drilling localized openings in the headliner or interior trim
- Installing rivet nuts into sheet-metal mounting locations
Specific procedures vary by vehicle. These installation procedures do not alter the primary structural sheet metal of the vehicle body.
Always follow the installation methods and instructions provided by Old Pipe® or by an authorized dealer or installer. Changing mounting locations, components, fastening methods, or the product structure may affect load capacity and safety.
Old Pipe® is not responsible for loosening, damage, detachment, abnormal noise, interference, or other risks resulting from incorrect installation, unauthorized modification, use of unspecified components, or installation methods inconsistent with the provided instructions.
5. Usage Limitations and Responsibility
Actual performance of the For Love™ Interior Rack may be affected by vehicle type, mounting-point structure, cargo dimensions, weight, center-of-gravity distribution, securing method, road conditions, driving behavior, and the condition of the product.
Old Pipe® is not responsible for product or vehicle damage, falling cargo, personal injury, or other losses resulting from:
- Incorrect installation
- Exceeding the 20 kg (44 lb) maximum load
- Uneven or concentrated loading
- Failure to properly secure cargo
- Using bungee cords or other unsuitable restraints as the primary method of securing cargo
- Unauthorized machining, modification, or alteration of the product
- Abnormal or unintended use
- Accidents, collisions, extreme road conditions, or other external forces
- Continued use after an abnormal condition has been identified, or failure to perform necessary inspections
Before carrying cargo, the user is responsible for confirming that the product, mounting points, restraints, and cargo are all in a condition suitable for safe use.
6. Routine Inspection and Maintenance
All cargo systems require regular inspection. While using the For Love™ Interior Rack, regularly check:
- Whether vehicle mounting points are secure
- Whether crossbars, tubes, bolts, and other components are loose, displaced, deformed, or worn
- Whether tie-down straps, load restraints, or other securing accessories are worn or deteriorated
- Whether loaded cargo causes abnormal movement, interference, friction, or noise
We particularly recommend checking all mounting points and cargo restraints again after long-distance driving, driving on rough roads, or repositioning cargo.
If you notice looseness, deformation, cracks, abnormal noise, or any other unusual condition, stop using the product immediately and contact Old Pipe® for assistance.
7. Returns and Product Defects
7.1 Seven-Day Cooling-Off Period
For purchases made through the Old Pipe® website or other distance-sales channels, consumers are entitled to a seven-day right to cancel the purchase, beginning on the day following receipt of the product, in accordance with Taiwan’s Consumer Protection Act. No reason is required to exercise this right.
The seven-day cooling-off period is not a trial period. Consumers may inspect the product to the extent reasonably necessary to determine its nature and condition. If the product is damaged, lost, altered, or otherwise changed due to handling beyond what is reasonably necessary for inspection, or due to circumstances attributable to the consumer, the consumer’s right to cancel may be affected. Each case will be assessed based on the condition of the product and applicable laws and regulations.
The For Love™ Interior Rack is a product that requires installation. Before beginning installation, please confirm that the product model, components, dimensions, and vehicle compatibility are correct.
If the product has been installed, fastened, drilled, machined, modified, or otherwise handled beyond what is reasonably necessary for inspection, and such actions result in wear, scratches, deformation, component wear, or other changes to the condition of the product, the right to return the product may be affected.
If you wish to return a product, please keep the product, components, accessories, and packaging as complete as reasonably possible and contact Old Pipe® for return instructions.
7.2 Product Defects
If the product itself is defective and, within three months of purchase, such defect results in failure to support the cargo under proper installation and normal use, Old Pipe® may provide a return or replacement depending on the circumstances.
Damage resulting from incorrect installation, overloading, uneven loading, failure to properly secure cargo, unauthorized machining or modification, unintended use, accidents, collisions, road conditions, or other external forces is not considered a product defect.
8. Final Check Before Purchase
The For Love™ Interior Rack is not intended to make your vehicle’s interior capable of carrying anything under any condition. Its purpose is to help you use interior space more efficiently when the product is properly evaluated, correctly installed, correctly used, and regularly inspected.
Before purchasing, please confirm that:
- Your vehicle model, model year, and version are correct.
- The items you intend to carry are suitable for storage in the upper interior area of the vehicle.
- The total cargo weight will not exceed 20 kg (44 lb).
- You are able to securely fasten the cargo using suitable abrasion-resistant tie-down straps or load restraints.
- The installation and cargo will not interfere with airbags, driver visibility, passenger safety, or normal vehicle operation.
