Old Pipe Membership Terms of Service

Welcome to Old Pipe (“we,” “us,” “our”). By creating an account, signing in, placing an order, or using any part of our website and member services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

1) Eligibility & Account

1.You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering.

2.You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Activities under your account are considered authorized by you.

3.If you suspect unauthorized use, notify us immediately.

2) Member Services

Member services may include browsing product information, placing orders, checking order status, submitting warranty/repair requests, contacting support, and receiving product-related notices.

We may update, modify, or suspend any part of the services as needed, with notice via the website or other reasonable means.

3) Orders & Payments

1.An order is confirmed when our system accepts it and payment is completed (or your selected payment method is successfully authorized).

2.Pricing, shipping fees, taxes, and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and in your order confirmation.

3.We may cancel or refuse an order due to system errors, out-of-stock situations, failed payments, or suspicious/abnormal transactions, and issue refunds when applicable.

4) Shipping, Installation & Safe Use

1.International shipping may be delayed due to customs clearance, flight schedules, peak seasons, or carrier issues.

2.Old Pipe products may involve mounting and load-bearing on vehicles and can affect road safety. Please follow our installation guides and safety instructions. If you are unsure, seek professional installation help.

3.We are not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, overload, modification, misuse, or failure to follow instructions—except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

5) Returns & Warranty

Returns, exchanges, warranty, and repair conditions are governed by the policies posted on our website and applicable local laws.

6) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

•Register with false information, impersonate others, or infringe third-party rights

•Hack, disrupt, or interfere with the website or systems, or distribute malware

•Post unlawful, violent, hateful, harassing, defamatory, pornographic, or IP-infringing content

•Engage in any conduct that harms Old Pipe or others

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

7) User Content License (Photos/Videos/Reviews)

If you provide content such as installation photos/videos, reviews, comments, or other materials (including via customer support or social interactions), you represent you have the necessary rights, and you grant us permission to use it for customer support handling, product improvement, and marketing display (website, social media, advertising) in a manner consistent with reasonable privacy expectations.

If you do not want your content published, please tell us clearly when submitting it.

8) Intellectual Property

All website content (text, images, videos, logos, product designs, installation guides, etc.) is owned by Old Pipe or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. Unauthorized copying, distribution, modification, public transmission, or commercial use is prohibited.

9) Service Availability & Disclaimer

We take reasonable steps to keep the services secure and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for interruptions or losses caused by force majeure, third-party services (payment/shipping/internet), or maintenance/updates.

10) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the services or any purchase is limited to the amount you actually paid for the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, where allowed by law.

11) Privacy

We collect and use personal information according to our Privacy Policy.

12) Changes & Governing Law

12.1 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time due to operational, legal, or service changes. Updates will be posted on this website with a revised “Last updated” date. Unless stated otherwise, the updated Terms take effect on the posting date.

By continuing to use the member services after changes are posted, you agree to the updated Terms.

12.2 Governing Law & Consumer Rights

These Terms are generally governed by the laws of our principal place of business (Taiwan).

However, if you are a consumer located in another country/region, mandatory consumer protection laws in your place of residence that provide you with greater protection will not be excluded or limited by these Terms.

12.3 Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

If any dispute arises, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve it in good faith through informal negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved, either party may bring a claim in a court of competent jurisdiction under applicable law, including the courts in your place of residence or our principal place of business, as permitted.

Where legally permitted, the parties may also agree to mediation or arbitration.
